Everyone wants to be treated in a way that is most satisfying for them and in a way which enables them to really hear what is being said and taught. Especially for lawyers and executives, the ability to interact and communicate effectively with a variety of people means the difference between success and failure. The ability to have superior interpersonal skills starts with an accurate perception of one’s self. The DISC Report gives individual lawyers/executives great knowledge of themselves and others, leading to enhanced performance. It is an assessment of an individual’s self-perception of their strengths and weaknesses regarding how they interact with the other members of the law firm or company and as well as with clients and potential clients.
CREATING MISSION AND VISION STATEMENTS
The reason for having a Mission Statement is to tell the world what your company stands for. The process of drafting a Mission Statement obligates the stakeholders to take an objective view of their organization. The Mission Statement articulates what the organization stands for so that the stakeholders and the organization’s current and potential customers or clients can identify the organization’s meaningful standards. We will facilitate the drafting of the Mission Statement that all the stakeholders can agree on.
The SWOT Analysis is a fundamental part of the strategic planning process used to evaluate the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats involved in any organization. It involves identifying the internal and external factors that are favorable and unfavorable in achieving the objectives of your organization. Once these factors are identified, an action plan can be developed to strengthen your organization. We usually do this analysis at an annual retreat of the executive team with the full participation of all involved.
CREATING A STRATEGIC PLAN
You would not take a trip without the majority of the details arranged well in advance. In the same way, it is critical that every organization develop a plan of action to insure that you create the future you want. There is the concept that if you do not know where you are going, any road is fine. So how do you know where you are going? With the participation of all the stakeholders, we will guide you through developing and implementing a well-articulated Strategic Plan which will have standards by which to measure how well you are achieving the agreed-upon goals over the short and long-term.
